SUPPORTING ORGANIZATIONS
We have listened to the philanthropic community; the options available,
particularly to donors interested in donor advised funds, are limited. In
response, Waverly Management has put the pieces in place to offer
sophisticated philanthropic clients a turn-key, cost-effective solution in the form of a 990 Supporting Organization.
A supporting organization is a 501(c)(3) charity that is classified as a public charity
rather than a private foundation. This is because it supports a public charity and is one of the few organizations that receives the benefits of public charity status for
tax deductibility and operation without having to satisfy the public support test. A supporting organization can be classified as a public charity if there is one donor or a host of donors and can host Donor Advised Funds.
We handle it all. By adhering to our mission, we offer an innovative solution with all of the benefits and none of the burdens: Simplicity, Flexibility, Maximum Tax Benefits, Ease of Administration and Cost-effectiveness.
